Hello dear MT’ler, today I had a problem with which I need your advice. I drove about 15min. with cruise control at 180 km/h, then suddenly came the message in the display “Motor overheated. Please slow down… etc.”! The oil temp. was a little over 140°C. Cooler fan runs briefly in the stand, so it works… I have observed that the “Lamels” do not open behind the kidneys, they are all the time too. I only changed to the BMW fraction since November last year, since I don’t know to what extent this is normal. Furthermore, I have an entry in the error memory “AuslassVanos difficult”…. Could there be something connected or are there other sources of error? Lack of cooling water does not indicate… Oil temperature is otherwise always around the 110-120°C greeting, [Pb/SN] PS: Outside temperature was only 10°C…
