Dear oldtimer friends, does someone happen to know if it is possible to research on whom a car number was registered in the period before 1945? This means specifically whether there was a central registration register or one for the different countries in the German Reich and whether this directory is preserved somewhere in an archive until today, e.g. in the Federal Archives. I am concerned with a vehicle that was probably registered in the 1930s Westphalia. Does anyone have an idea? Thank you and Greetings to Sabrina
