At the cold start the engine starts, but in the first second the speed goes down very strongly, then up again until the idle speed becomes stable after a few seconds. That wouldn’t be so tragic if my wife doesn’t want to drive from time to time and then activates the accelerator at the start, so that the cold engine starts to wane. 2. When driving in the partial load range If you know that, you actually pay attention to it permanently and want to put it off. Easier said than done, at least the people of VAG thought so and built up the complete electrics, set the ignition again and – no improvement – cost 450 DM, Then also warm-up regulator, cold-start valve, cold-air valve and volume divider were examined – nothing then you changed the injection valves – effect : the sink The last step would be a complete system pressure check with a Bosch service – costs over 1000 DM would be in it.
