Hello together, Now a question to the real experts on the topic stick the driver card and EC control device. In our company many so-called experts run around, but I did not get a really sound answer. We have in operation the following vehicles in use: – Unimog U500 with Palfinger loading crane, is used exclusively as a crane, but would like to use it in some time additionally as a tractor for a low loader (currently as a self-driving working machine e approved) – Mercedes Axor with riser structure (also SAM) – Unimog U400 with loading crane, is used as tanker and pumps tractor (currently approved as tractor) – Case Puma (>50km/h) with fixed Palfinger loading crane, exclusively front loaders and crane work, also as tractor for tandem trailers for the transport of tools and working materials (approved as tractor) You notice yourself, we have pretty much everything mixed up. We already know Is it true when we have to put a card and when not? SAM are excluded from the proof obligation, here the health and safety laws apply. What about the U400? I have read on this page that the proof obligation does not exist if you transport only your own things. Does this also apply in connection with the ADR right? We only drive for ourselves… What about the tug? This one does not have an EC recording device at the moment. Or would it be appropriate here to allow this thing as a self-driving working machine?! Yesterday a clever colleague said that one should not use a SAM as a towing vehicle for a trailer. Is there anything to it? I hope someone here can bring a little light into the dark! Thank you in advance
