Hello, The front flap on the gas bottle mounting consists of two plastic parts in my hobby from 1997 which are connected all around all 30cm with plastic cones and then have been welded with a kind of soldering iron on the inside. Three or four cones have already been broken up at the top. That is, the inside plastic covering claps and does not pull the outer part completely in the closed state. This also allows water to run in. I have now thought about whether I would drill a small 3mm hole next to it (i.e. next to the old cones) and then connect the two parts with blind rivets again. Is this stable enough? I have a known who did the whole thing with special glue or resin, but what has been done again and again by the shocks. How do you do that? mfg Wolfgang
