Hello everybody! Does anyone have a manual (with pictures and arrows) how to set the steering gear on the DB 508 (this chassis, not from this place)? It is a manual, so not a servo, steering gear. In my golf it is a screw that you have to secure afterwards. Is it the same, or at least similar? A commercial vehicle mechanic (in training, 2nd year) said his operation (which has taken care of the car so far, in case of problems) puts on this type k I don’t know why they would always replace the steering gears, starting with new or outdated ones. I mean, they just shoot. The vehicle has an animally small turning circle. Is that what you want, or is that because of the game in the steering gear which is too big? The wheels are almost 90° (eff. approx. 75°) to the body. It’s always for roaring when I turn the car on the smallest blades. e. There people, especially truck drivers, always fall down the jaw.
