Hello to everyone am new here and have a big problem, It is a KTM EXC 250 2T Mj 2006 To the background: I had the engine overhauled in winter (pistons, KW bearings etc.) it was only the engine gone, so without frame and attachments when I had assembled everything again it went naturally on test drive, ran also everything well, something strange was only that it needed significantly more fuel than before. During the 2 test ride the problems started: I am a bit u I then changed the candle at home and then it ran again. At the next exit the same problem, no gas acceptance and again nothing went on. I then checked the membrane and found that they did not close properly. So then new membrane came in and now nothing at all. Have the Zün dfunken controlled and had to find out that there is no one there anymore!!!!! Therefore I measured the ignition coil and this was defective. Secondary winding had a resistance in the M/ohm range, instead of in the K/ohm range. Ok other ignition coil in and it at least jumped on, ran about 20 sec and then went out with a misignition. After that I changed the ignition box (was from an SX 250 2003) and it did not jump on. Good still remained the ignition current and ignition coil. measured to resistance and the values were in the target areas Ignition current coil approx. 15 ohms Ignition source coil approx. 100 ohms. I also changed the complete carburetor to exclude it, but it still didn’t start. Now I slowly don’t know any more and ask myself the question how a secondary winding of the ignition coil can break? Had someone ever had such problems or do you have another tip what I can check. Thanks
