Hello MotorTalk-Community, I have a question about the attachment of the catch rope of my 750 kilo trailer to the intended eyelet at the AHK. I want to attach the catch rope “better” than simply to throw it over the AHK, in Switzerland this is to my knowledge even inadmissible, so that tear-off and catch ropes are always separate from the AHK to attach. Okay, now the eye is relatively small, quite concealed, so I would like to take a snap hook, this is weni less fuzzy than a shackle. But what breaking force or load in kilos do I have to consider here in order to ensure safety? Usually carabiners are sold with “tragability”, but since there is still a ruck in case of error, this should be sufficiently large. Is there experience values? Greetings, Hendrik
