Good morning, I finally fulfilled my dream and bought myself a new Z900. Now it is time to drive in so that the machine will remain with me for a long time. My question is how to drive in properly. The dealer did not mean over 4000 rpm and has adjusted the switching flash accordingly. I keep to this requirement even if there is something different in the manual. The question I ask myself about the speed is whether it doesn’t matter how I reach the 4000 rpm? On the highway f Do I take the gears with half-/full-gas up to 4000 rpm or speed up from the 5th or 6th gears. Do I do this right or should I do something different? I don’t want to drive the engine already while driving in scrap. Thanks already for the answers Mfg
