The following situation: Yesterday I passed a “fresh” accident location on foot. There was nothing more to do for a first responder. Accident site secured, no casualties, etc. Participating vehicles: A fairly new Audi A3 and a 320d of the new series. As it happened, I don’t know. I didn’t ask either, because I only quickly looked for what to help. The Audi had pushed in the complete front, both front airbags were triggered and hung limply in their V The front airbags did not seem to have been triggered. In the event of an accident, the airbags are triggered by sensors and help at the planned location. My question: why didn’t all airbags open? Or would it have been counterproductive if all available airbags had jumped on? Bye Tex
