I have been the owner of a S. Vitara with all-grip and automatic for almost two years now. Overall, I am satisfied with the vehicle. I find the behavior in “cruise operation”, i.e. with activated distance control tempomat, as – due to traffic can quickly result in the following situation: With activated distance control machine (as cruise control and automatic distance control) e.g. to approx. 115 km/h the vehicle speed is maintained and my vehicle braked if before m If the lane is changed or released again by turning the slower vehicle, my vehicle automatically accelerates to the set speed again. This is correct and pleasant; however, it is disturbing that my “Vitara” accelerates excessively, if necessary switches back over several driving steps, and then in “Kick-Down-Manier” my “Vitara” accelerates too much, if necessary switches back over several driving steps, and then quickly returns to the lane. This behaviour is always inappropriate and disturbing, especially if older passengers are in the vehicle and the traffic situation does not appear to be necessary after a so far quiet journey. Does anyone know the problem or has had similar experiences? The “thing” is not known at the dealer’s shop and there probably has not been a manufacturer’s note about it. Would I be happy if jema nd has already made relevant experiences and found a remedy. Still wish a “good trip” and thank me in advance for reading… Greeting hajobehu
