Hello V-community, I would like to share my experience with PitStop and would be pleased with advice and tips: Recent TÜV check showed that the winter tyres raised about 2 years ago are not approved for my Volvo. According to papers – and thus manufacturer specifications – 185/70 R14 are the smallest approved size. What I was sold was, however, as now turned out after three winter seasons, only the size 175/70. So according to Tüv I am three winters without approval. And with it even without insurance cover – fortunately WITHOUT accident. Result: I get new winter tyres raised by Volvo and thus get fresh TÜV and actually also insurance cover again. To this end, PitStop only approves of a residual value refund according to residual profile depth. How high this cash payment will be, is still calculated. What do you say about it? My sense of justice would rather be based on a 100% refund and calmly I’ve never had a crash on all sides. Greetings Martin
