Read: a quarter without safety belts on the go

I just read this article:http://www.nzz.ch/2007/05/09/il/newzzF1HHI9IO-12.html The 1032 riders, who are possibly dead or worse injured in the event of an emergency, are themselves to blame. But the unsecured children can’t do anything for it and there are my hair on the mountain. Also not to strap on yourself is stupid! I don’t even notice anymore, when I put on the seat belt, that’s a reflex. So excuses like: “that’s too cumbersome for me”, “costs unnecessary time”, “have I just don’t understand Airbag” etc. Also the fairy tales of a little heavier people, like: “I’m strong enough, I can support myself”, or “I’m sure I’ll stay in the seat with my weight” testify to zero idea of physics. I had a nice example of this 3 years ago during a driving safety training: One of the passengers in our car should not buckle up. The instructor was at the wheel. He drove on, at about 10 km/h and then braked fully. fat guys on the passenger seat (approx. 180kg live weight) catapulted it only from it with full force on the dashboard. Of course he was stinky-sauer learned his lesson but then… What do you think about the topic?
