Hello, I drive an A6, 2.5 TDI multitronic, first class 6/2001, approx. 170 tkm. Wg. of the new TÜV exhaust gas test (from 1/2018) : is it useful to prefer the TÜV date by 6 months? My consideration is : – whether the A6 creates this new test as a exhaust gas? – and besides, if the new exhaust gas test is not available, there are quite high costs (if prices then spare parts costs of 1.5 – 1.7 T€ , without wage) – think also that many cars do not pass the exhaust gas test – so I would not have 2 years, then the A6 is almost 19 years old What do you think about it?
