Experience report

Hello (also future) “Dacianer”, wanted to get rid of a few lines. I drive his September 07 a MCV diesel. I am very satisfied with the car, did not regret it, and have cycled down until now about 16000km. The fuel consumption is great, I consume now with the summer tires under 5 liter. Diesel. My car before (E200T) consumed about 10 liter. Super. With my driving performance that was about 300.- a month. That is, I have my fuel costs more than halved. 50.-) and comprehensive (about 500.-) are also everyday. The engine is not the strongest, but according to Tacho he drives also about 170km (I hardly drive urban traffic, and have driven the car well). Even at full throttle the consumption hardly increases above 6 liters. If I give myself trouble with the fuel saving, my onboard computer shows 3.8 liters (at 60kmh in the 5th course). This is unfortunately not feasible everywhere, but nevertheless!!! There are also some points that I criticize, but that was there until now. My biggest criticism is the weak noise insulation. I don’t know now whether the petrol engines are like that, but the diesel engine is like that at higher speeds. That’s why I ordered insulation material on the Internet, and the doors were insulated (now the door speakers sound good too). I changed the lame insulation in the bonnet, and I also changed the cheap “pole tires” for low-roll resistance tyres. I’m an old base. I had other cars (730i, E200T,A6 2.5tdi, Hartge H3 etc.), but I just don’t want to spend any more money for a car. So the MCV was the right car for me at the right time!!! However, I would take a petrol engine and make a gas conversion. Renault offers this for the Dacia, also ATU does that. I am at the top of a conversion, and the material didn’t cost much, and was also fun. I don’t know which one is in my diesel. Does anyone have experience??? Thank you for your experience Asta la vista, Helmut Anlage Photo of my Dacia MCV
