Knister, knaster…

Hello dear forists, I have been having a V60 D5 summum for some time now, MY 2011 and am very satisfied with it except for small things so far. However, I was a little disappointed – as far as my expectations of “side noise” are concerned. Well, over 25 years Lancia, Alfa-Romeo and Fiat make it painful as far as DAS is concerned. But with a vehicle of the 50,000 Euro class I would not have expected: – crackling and creaking the cover for the City-Safety behind the rear mirror. A finger print on it re I t and you know how to do this better NOT. Remedy: Adhesive tape over the surfaces where the four parts of the cover are connected to each other. – The rear flap lining hits the metal on the tailgate in bad roads. Remedy: Underlay felt. – The door handles outside creak and feel very cheap. Remedy: not found yet. – The door panels creak when you touch them (e.g. with your knee while driving). When you do what they are designed to do – grab in. Remedy: not found yet. – Always a crackling and crackling somewhere in the interior. A suitable noise at every temperature! Remedy: none. – The rear spoiler moves when you only look at it obliquely. On bad roads it clatters naturally. Remedy: Put foam rubber under. – The decorative strips around the windows move scaryly when you press against it. Abhil I have been driving Mercedes, VW and Audi for years and I have to say that they may not be better technically, but they simply bring “value” better. Double a pity, because the interior design of the Volvo stands out very pleasantly from the uniform porosity of the above mentioned ones. If someone has any remedy for the points described above ind, I like to have an open ear! 😉 VG Verdeboreale
