v70 2.4D – Timing belts themselves changed, punitive work!!!

Yesterday I changed the timing belt with water pump and all associated side belts as well as tensioning rollers myself. For this I had ordered the new V70-Diesel book from Haynes from England. Everything became good, but honestly I had imagined this easier. Unfortunately I did not have a stage, therefore everything from the floor. When the upper engine bearing was removed the engine slid down. Then I caught the whole with a jack and a board under the oil tank. The biggest problem, however, was the place. Extending pulleys and tensioning rollers is the madness. I don’t even have thick hands! The coronation was then the water pump. The old one went out, somehow, but the new one should of course be installed without damage. There was only this one way from above and I certainly took half an hour. Finally I had forgotten a screw for the belt protection, but the pulley on the crankshaft was already again f est. I had tried everything, but no chance to put the screw on without further dismantling of the belt disc. In the end, there were some more things that made the whole thing a bit difficult. It took me 10 hours until the engine ran again.
