This year I will probably say goodbye to my BMW 335i Cabrio (E93) and exchange for a compact SUV (as a victory of reason ;-)). As a BMW driver, the view into the SUV model range reveals two main options: X1 and X3 (I don’t like X2 and X4; everything else is too large). Other options would be Q5, Tiguan and XC60, where my heart actually beats for the Munichers. Since my current convertible is quite neatly With 306 hp and a lot of steam, I don’t like to “worse” myself about that. Here are the basic data: Budget: approx.40k EUR, max. 45k EUR EZ: from 2015 mileage: max. 50k km engine: actually like diesel, due to the current debate but probably gasoline again. From 200 hp. This makes the current X3 (unfortunately) out, since still too young. The same applies to the Q5 and XC60. Actually only the current X1 (F48) and the old X3 (F25, Facelift from 2014) remain. . Of course, the current technology speaks for the X1, but the space available and the “small” engines. I always liked the X3 and also the feeling of space and the engines appeal to me (had just 2 weeks ago an X3 35d as a rental car over Sixt for the WE). Moreover, the F25 is of course now a mature vehicle. However, my concern is that I spend a lot of money on relatively “old” technology and design. How do you see that? Is there from your own self t more arguments that speak for or against one of the options? Or maybe someone else has a completely different idea? Thank you for your advice and love greeting, Max
