Buy vintage cars or don’t you want to!?

Hello you! today I turn to you with a question (which you can’t answer to me) and hope for a push in the right direction. I am 38 years young, married and father of two really great children. Girls 8 years and son 4 years. Both car-crazy like Papa. I work at a local well-known car series specialist company as a car painter. We carry out about 2-4 part and full restorations in the year and I am therefore good with the matter familiar. But now to the actual question: We are currently driving a BMW E91 Touring as 320d. This has a very good equipment including Bluetooth, Navi groß, Xenon with curved light, panoramic roof etc….blablabla…. click Now I play with the idea to sell the E91 and get me an oldie and from the rest still a everyday car like e.g. a Golf V. Oldie should be Opel, Ford or Mercedes of the 70s. Mercedes preferably /8 or W123. What do you think? h the preservation of value of an oldie more meaningful than driving the BMW until you get nothing more for it!? Greetings Wolfi
