Hello, I worked as a consultant and my company provides me with a company car or a Car Allowance. Now I am thinking of whether company car or Car Allowance. If I opt for the Car Allowance so my AG pays me 660€ (gross) in addition to the salary. I get a tank card (must I tax with 140€ as GWV) which I can use privately and for business purposes. KM are completely free. According to calculations, the 500€ (net) is more compared to a company car that I can use 40TSD KM Currently we have an Octavia 3 Combi and an old Fiat Panda. We wanted to exchange my wife’s Fiat Panda for a “newer” bigger car anyway. Budget here ~15,000€ I only took the following considerations 1. Company car and gave up 500€ (net). Full-Leasing service. Every 3 years new car. 2. Car Allowance with the Octavia + used (budget ~15,000€) for my wife 3. Car Allowance with new/used for me + O ctavia for my wife At point 3 I would of course need a very reliable vehicle that will hold at least the next 5 years+. Diesel, robust engine, comfortable seats, Navi … Point 2 is similar to point 3, except that I use Octavia as a service car and my wife needs a new one.
