The latest ADAC test in the field of jam protection for electric window lifters has moved me to check if my CV, built in 2007, equipment version Sol, edition model has such a clamp protection. So I have keys in the ignition lock, ignition on, window down, windows up again and fingers in between. Neeeee, neeeee. I didn’t have that much confidence in Toyota. So instead of the finger, I took a carrot, which had to s owieso away. And look there: windows closed, beets divided. Now I am honestly more than disappointed. Since this is a family car and in the back seats actually almost exclusively children sit I would have expected from Toyota just that the rear windows have a clamp protection. For safety reason again in the operating instructions looked, whether there is something there on the topic. And look there, my CV has a clamp protection. Maybe this is not activated. This time with a phone book. And hoppla. The clamp protection works. I’m a little irritated now. If I look at my daughter’s fingers or arms, then I have my doubts as to whether the clamp protection really works. What does it look like with you? Can you say from the grasp whether you have a clamp protection and if yes, if this is the case? is it really activated?
