Hello dear forum. I have to replace two of my summer tires this year, because two have only 3mm profile depth. My previous summer tires are the Continental Sportcontact 5. My dealer no longer offers this, but the successor Continental SportContract 6. Since I only need two new tires I think it makes sense to buy the Continental tires. Only this seems to be a sports tire which probably has a high wear. I have read at least some of the names. Now it would be legally permitted to drive two different tyres on the respective axles. The alternative of Michelin (Prime?) probably has a lower wear. But it is probably not so good to drive on one axle Continental and on the other axle Michelin. I am not a sporty driver. So would rather not use sports tyres. Car is a Kia sportage with four-wheeled, built in 2017. I would be interested in your opinion on the topic before I make a decision. g.
