Hello I would like to buy either a Golf 4 1.9 TDI or Golf 5 1.9 TDI in the next few months, but I am unstoppable. I am very enthusiastic about the driving characteristics of the Golf 5 and it is definitely much more modern in many respects in contrast to the 4s, however the reliability is my top priority. Since I don’t want to spend more than 3000 euros most 5s you find for the money rather mau from the condition. Also another question about the engine, the Does it mean that the 1.9 TDI 105 hp in Golf 5 is more consumed and is not as stable as the 1.9 TDI in Golf 4? Which of the two would you take?
