GT3 – Sport button

Hello, the exhaust flaps of my GT3 MK2 have “I” permanently opened – so I wanted to spare myself the annoying pressing of the sports button. Today I have then by chance a little bit in the manual and read the following sentence (unlikely wording) to the sports button: “By pressing the sports button the exhaust back pressure is reduced in the range of 3,000 to 4,000 revolutions and thus a significantly increased torque achieved. In order to achieve best driving values, the sports button must therefore ged Does Porsche mean that the exhaust flaps open in this speed range and the exhaust back pressure is reduced? Or does the sports button still do anything, changes any parameters etc.? Say: Do I drive without a pressed sports button and permanently open exhaust flaps in eco mode, or is the full power available to me?
