Help – Determination of replacement value in case of liability damage

The reason for the question is an accident at the rear, which may have led to an economic total damage, as the frame may have changed. The problem I may have now is that there has been an accident at the rear of the car before and now the replacement value indicated in the report at the time has been too low. In any case, I don’t find a single comparable car for the price (with mobile/autoscout only looking for vehicle location 100 km from the place of residence, car type, car age, car Km, gasoline and automatic transmission, so no special/exotic equipment, colors etc.). In the last accident (also uninflicted) I was not interested in the replacement value stated in the report, since the damage was completely repaired. If it is now due to the new I might have the problem that I can’t find a car for the money at all. That can’t be something like that, can it? I’d like to know 1. how the replacement value is usually determined. 2. Whether the insurance must “show” a comparable car to the calculated replacement value if you doubt the replacement value, since you can’t find a comparable car for this price. 3. what the insurances/courts understand by comparable car. Incidentally, the evaluator is an independent one from me and none from the insurance. So it can actually not be assumed that this deliberately “small calculates” or similar. However, I would still like to know if it is possible to successfully doubt the replacement value determined by the “own” evaluator before the opposing insurance, if you can’t find a car. it here is not a starting point for achieving profit, but only because – if it is a total damage – I actually get a comparable car for the payment of the insurance. Sorry, I am Laie in the field. Help would be nice!
