Porsche 996 vs. Mercedes S 63 AMG

Hello, about 2 months ago I was travelling with my father on the A7 from Fulda direction Kassel, i.e. in the famous Kassel mountains. When a speed limit of 120 kmh was still valid we overtook a S 63 Facelift model, which drove with about 100 kmh to the right. After 120 was lifted, it was already not visible in the rear-view mirror. We accelerated to about 220 kmh with our 996 Facelift cabrio but had to brake soon due to the traffic. d we drove with about 140 behind another car, the benz came from behind. The car drove us soon cleared the left lane and we accelerated fully. The AMG hung us in the back and when on the right became free my father left it past and we hung and on the back. We had of course zero chances from the acceleration, but because of the traffic volume, which stopped us at the speed of 270 at the latest at the Benz. In any case, the S63 was also a little faster, not much, but it was faster. Now I wonder if the curve position in the 997 compared to the 996 really improved or if the S63 was better than a 911 on the Because if so, I wonder why you buy a sports car at all, if a modern luxury limousine itself is faster in the curves or at least at the same speed and offers a high level of comfort, which makes it possible to drive from Munich to Hamburg and besides, an S 63 does not cost much more than a well equipped Carrera S…
