A short “legal” delay: My children have a tent camp from the church every year. I transport the materials and tents back and forth as a father. Normally we get a 7.49 tonner from a car rental company or a local company at the weekend for this. This year we need, if necessary, a 12 tons truck for this. I own a valid CE driver’s license (still rewritten by the Bundeswehr) and just extended with certificate, since I have over 5 But I am not a professional driver myself. 1) Can a company provide me with a truck for this private use (about 500 km of motorway per route)? 2) Do I need a driver card for this? With the 7.49 tonner, mostly Europcar or the like, the tacho machine always runs without a card. 3) Can I drive on the highway for this private use on the weekend at all? 4) What about toll collection? Do I have to pay for it myself? e company run? Please excuse the stupid questions, but I’m not of the subject and what you read in the forums is quite different. Bert
