Hi, I drive an A2, TDI, year 2001 with 90 hp. Last year in September he had massive start problems (eternal ly until he jumped) and sometimes also went out during the ride. At the Bosch service the diesel pump was then changed for about 500 €. After that 2 months was quiet and since the end of last year he is again without end when jumping. Strangely not always… in the morning it is usually worse than during the day, sometimes it also jumps directly when it is warm. t has replaced the pump again on guarantee, but it still won’t work! I’m desperate, because the guy from the workshop says it’s going to work with him and he can’t do anything more. Error analysis has not shown anything, spark plugs, baterrie etc. are fine. Another problem: from time to time smoke from the engine at the front right. Goes away if I put climate on Econ. Can this be related to starting up? Lg Nadine
