Hello, I bought a 2.5t car three-side tipper yesterday. There were several brands to choose from, but from a price and dealer’s point of view I decided for a certain factory. This factory charges the tipper battery via external 12V charger via 230V socket. The trailer also has only a 7-pin light plug. With other hangers that were available the tipper battery is automatically charged over 13-pin during the ride. Now I ask myself if I am not durc h Minor change of cabling and installation of 13-pin. Plug the tipper battery also over the towing vehicle charge. How could one ensure that the tipper pump is only operated via the battery and not by the high current consumption when tilting the onboard electric of the towing vehicle overburdens? By an additional relay that interrupts the charging line when the hydraulic pump operates? mfg Tom
