Hello dear Opel friends, I own an Opel Vectra C OPC Caravan. Z28NET , 2.8 liter Turbo (280 hp) , 114,000 km , built in 2007 I’ve had it for 1.5 years and was always satisfied with the car. Today the exhaust control light went on. Let the Opel workshop and fault memory read out. Error: Engine control P0018 Sensor camshaft position Inlet Voltage too low (bank 2) It only shows this error and no bank 1. After I researched the Internet, there are two M a) Sensor (bank 2) defective and has to be changed b) Control chain has hung up and has to be changed In case of errors a) it would be approx. 300-500 euros, at b) 3,000-5,000 euros!!! 1. Can I drive by car for the first time? I am on a journey at the moment and would have to travel about 700 km to the home garage. Car behaves quite “normal”. No noise or performance losses. 2. Can someone recommend me a capable Opel dealer in Bonn and surroundings? 3. How to go Is the best way to fix errors? Thank you Torsten
