Hi people – after 7 days and a 3500km tour, my R1200GS, 100km from home (Austria – north of Vienna) had a capital engine damage! Valve plate from the outlet valve is torn off and has “destroyed” the cylinder head and piston………. On the one hand “happiness in misfortune” – could have happened also abroad (we are 12 countries – Romania, Bulgaria, Kosovo, Macedonia……Albania and retoured) – on the other hand, I am very ……… And this is how the whole thing looks. from:
