After my good EC8 ran almost 2 years without a breakdown, it happened again. All summer was nothing, and it hardly gets cold, the trouble starts. First (probably due to the cold) a sweat seam completely tears through the exhaust. After I had repaired the exhaust and had attached it, I wanted to start the car. But somehow he did not want to. He lined up and lined up, but didn’t jump on. Strangely, this didn’t sound like usual when he didn’t jump. The ignition time did not change it either, so I completely shut out the ignition. After I had taken out the candles after all the lyres, these deer were brown (means a good combustion) and also moist. It smelled like petrol from the cylinders. Therefore, I almost exclude a fuel supply problem, because the previous evening it also jumped in perfect (which also excludes a filter). B I still have the subject of air: I opened the air filter box yesterday and wanted to try it almost without a filter…then the battery was all that is currently charging. However, I don’t believe in an air problem. Where could I still look? Problem is: I have an unregulated EC8, so carburetor with manual choke…that’s always a bit difficult and fuzzy because of mixture overgreasing etc. I really hope that he’s just drunk off the engine….I just rock him Is there a hint that I could still look at? My love from DD…
