Hello everyone, I’m still quite new here and this is my first post here in the forum. Hope you can tell me something about it. I bought a Daewoo Matiz a month ago, which was only in June at the TÜV. This Daewoo also got some new cylinder and something was changed. I didn’t have that exactly in mind. Anyway, a lot of it was renewed. Yesterday then when I drove to Haues (60km) my bonnet suddenly started smoking & my exhaust smoke So much so that I got signs of light from other drivers. Immediately I stopped in the middle of the highway and when I opened the bonnet came some smoke. I drove so slowly it went to the next gas station (2km). Unfortunately the cashier had even less idea there than I! So we filled oil and water after. We noticed that hardly any oil was in there and water was also as good as no more in there… SUPER! As I drove on then the smoke was gone, but then I got to the battery was empty, but it wasn’t shown before. Luckily I made it to 15km before my village and was then towed there by a friend. The car didn’t go on any more, the battery was broken. And the water we had refilled was quite normal water, but after we had filled it up the water was totally dirty, brown & it was so kind of clumps in it. At home we crossed the car & it ran again, but At some point we all stood in a puddle and we realized that the water we had filled up, this dirty water, ran out of the car and everywhere in the yard “swimming around”…. By the way: when the car smoked I once looked at the temperature, but this remained constant and like always… quite normal everything! Maybe someone knows something about it? Tell me something about it…!!!!! I know myself that without or hardly oil & water driving is very stupid, but the oil we checked 2 weeks ago. This car probably, unlike my old, has a high oil consumption…. Apparently I have only bad luck with cars. Previously I had a VW Polo 6N & this was unlogical every 2 months in the repair….
