On weekends I plan trips to the desert. I have the choice between classic stone deserts and a huge sand desert. As a colleague already advised me, I will buy my off-road car on site, because then coolers, oil tubs … and especially the A/C are adapted to local conditions. Long wheelbase and roof railing (for the roof tent) … on long trips you should also be able to sleep comfortably in it. In summer it will be in the shade over 50 degrees … so please don’t suggest an old Landrover without A/C. Maybe someone can give me some good tips ?
