Since in my Alhambra there is still G11 inside I have once read into the problem of the cooling fluids. One must not mix G11 with G12, but with G12+ or later already. The G13 is supposedly not on glycol basis but something else. Since I rely on a silicate-free glycol-based KF on my motorcycle I wonder how the liquids differ in how much heat they can transport away. But I have not found any values, neither a NORM nor Is it blind? EDIT: There are such miracle remedies as “engine Ice” which supposedly can remove more heat from the engine. Will the engine be cooler? (Not that I would need it, my two motors here have not been very hotly constructed)
