Hertz Car Rental – first-class ripped off!

Ahoi together, It follows a little review of the car rental Hertz, since I have never experienced such behavior and would (not yet completed) be grateful for your opinion. After I unfortunately stayed with my mini, I got a rental car from my insurance company for a week incl. pick-up and bring service at my home. I got a Ford Ecosport, which was neither eco nor sport, but at least I was mobile. After a week ic h then registered by phone the pick-up, which took place also on the same day. Actually superfluous to mention that the vehicle was fully fuelled ready for collection. Two days later I noticed a debit of 49,50€ from my credit card, and thus the fun started: customer service, as well as live chat not available, or also all other telephone lines “closed” (except the number for new bookings of course). Somehow then I am online still on my account The only statement of the most competent employee was that the car had to be refueled because the tank was not full – logically I thought, after all, the car was driven from Bad Homburg to Offenbach. I asked to send me the tank receipt, which also worked after several runs, but now it’s really funny: The car w urde – I would like to mention it again for safety – fully fueled in Bad Homburg and refueled in Babenhausen (54km from Bad Homburg!) with 4l, for which I was now asked with almost 50€ to the cash register. Why the “excursion to Babenhausen was made and the car was not brought directly to the branch in Offenbach (always only 26km away) is still completely treacherous to me, but at least with an average consumption of 8l/100km I have a good proof that d he tank was full, if after a good 50km 4l had to be filled. Even if it is only about 50€, I do not see to throw this hertz in the (probably soon insolvent) throat, therefore the question to you, how you would behave now?
