The bad news: Unfortunately, the IMA took the shorter test (http://www.automotorundsport.de/d/52873) between the Toyota Prius and the Honda Civic IMA. Mainly due to the lack of safety equipment, e.g. the lack of ESP (VSA). The good news: Despite its much simpler hybrid technology, the IMA had almost the same test consumption (6.2 liters) as the Prius (6.1 liters). r 5.6 liters, while the Prius came to 6.0 liters. Apparently, the IMA is the better long-haul vehicle, while the Prius can score mainly in agglomerations where its electronic CVT transmission saves fuel.
