First of all, hello to all of you here! I am new to the forum and hope that I can find some advice here. Right to the point: I have a 4 year old Lacetti 1.8 CDX (with gas conversion by the Chevy dealer). I bought the car almost three years ago as an annual car with 15 tKM. On the highway it was now over at 58 tKM – obviously engine damage. A first diagnosis indicates engine damage due to oil shortage, but the car is still being checked out at the moment. I have the Wart My question to you now is: Do I have a chance on guarantee, and if not a guarantee, maybe a culant? Or can I forget about it again? I haven’t checked oil for a long time, but a car at this age must not normally consume so much oil that it comes to dry running and thus engine damage. I thank you for your answers.
