Hello, My Volvo v70d5 is about 1.5 years old. The top speed was actually at free speed according to Tacho 220 – 225. It was replaced, because of a defect, the pressure pump. Since then the D5 “only” 210 drives. The workshop claims that an update was made and this could only be due to the Tacho needle. In addition, there is also a lock in front of 210. After the engine noise I hear, however, that the tacho stand is exactly as before. (Loud engine noise between 190 and 210, after that it became quieter). Did the workshop put a lock, because the reperature was still on guarantee and this should not happen any more? Or can this also be due to wider tyres from 205 to 215? Thank you for your reply
