from the beginning – mid 2012:Mini JCW GP / Challenge Edition Information without guarantee: – ca. 220-230 hp – minus 50 kg (as in the old GP) = approx. 1150 kg (depending on the measuring method) – mechanical locking differential – original brake system from the Challenge racing car – semislicks as standard (normal tyres alternative??) – somewhat prolliger rear diffuser – yet more sporty tuned suspension This means that the thing is presumed (!) with the same power approx.200 kg lighter than the RS1 and becomes thanks to mechanical diff The GP will certainly be a much harder and less compressive vehicle, but that’s exactly what the Mini-GP fans have been looking for for for a long time. Unfortunately, it will also cost a similar amount to the RS1. ——————————— And then the Countryman “Ralley-Version”, a countryman JCW with 230 hp, four-wheeler and lower sports suspension, comes next year. It has space like a golf, 5 doors and four-wheeler, but also weighs at least 1400 kg… I’m sure it won’t be really sporty.
