Hello, three months ago I got a 4 year old Audi with a black non-metallic paint at a renowned car dealership. After the preparation he looked top – varnish in almost very good condition. 4 weeks later I noticed on the bonnet a spot, which formed whitish stains. Probably a place, where formerly Vogelkot lay on it too long. Since I immediately remove Vogelkot, it can not come from my use time. I wanted to try with Sonax sandpaste this I have been using Sonax sandpaste in my cars for years, nobody had any problems, they removed scratches instead of leaving them, but they have always been metallic varnishes. Since the scratches have disturbed me very much, I let a professional polisher on it. Result: scratches are gone, bird dirt spots are not – and: at least 40 small stone strokes can be seen. Suddenly on the bonnet. These were not to be seen at the time of purchase! I looked closely at the varnish. How did the stone hits suddenly come to light and what did the Audi dealer have to do to hide them – also the bird’s tail? Does this already fall under deception or can a preparation team cover up such defects? And how can they be concealed? After all, the stone hits were not seen for almost three months and only suddenly appeared through the polishing process.
