ahoi, as was read in the other thread zui I painted my brake caliper today. also worked quite well. unfortunately only one managed, because then started to pour ^^ well, to the problem: I installed weitec 40/40 deep-laying springs. for 2 months inside. shock absorbers are still standard. were however already quite pure. in any case we made the car by car lift at the front left. when the wheel was just in the air, one heard a loud hissing, followed by the blubbering vo n “water”. at this moment also a not to be underestimated amount of fluid on the left rear axle was disrupted —> shock absorber scrap. how far can I drive with it now? car body is not up. in any case I have looked for prices for new ones. will take any with gas. cost point. 60 euro or so per couple. then I have to have the track reset as soon as the ones are inside ? yes, or ? there are recommendations for the dampers ? or something I should pay attention to ? btw, the eg has 74,000 away.
