Hello, I’ve been using the Peerless XLS 12 CW in the car for about 1.5 years. But today the stupid part is torched. I listen to normal music, suddenly the bass stops. ok then I stopped and opened the trunk. There is already a huge smoke cloud against me. it has always smoked further out of the bass reflex tube. Now I have removed the part times : The complete coil (so the copper wraps ) are totally black and loose. looks very bad. d now I have just looked at the part again and came about 1 m to the pc- screen. You have never seen something like this: The whole picture was distorted and the colors totally wrong. had to “demagnetize” first so that the picture became normal again. what can that be?? the sub is out of. and at all, why smokes at once? I already thought the following: Yesterday has snowed with us 20 cm (shit weather!) and this morning the snow is through the sun e melted on my car. on the sub has also formed condensation water, as I noticed during the expansion. can it have something to do with it ? but that’s really annoying with every car ? am really. now I can also buy a new sub.
