The most reliable Volvo in the last 15 years?

We just got our two aging Japanese through the “TÜV” with an emergency cry and are now slowly looking for new vehicles. I drove a Lexus CT200h and a Toyota Avensis sample today, and I just miss the good seats, the sensible ergonomics and the style of Volvos. So why not look around? We no longer need a seven-seater, and we are very open to absolutely everything with four wheels. A very important criterion are reliability and about the This is why the thread title: Problem children can look for other parents. Absolute exclusion criterion is a CVT transmission: I don’t get that into my house. Even in sport mode, the above-mentioned Lexus “swallowed” the first second of the acceleration. I also know about mother-in-law Auris and various car hires. Preferably are manual transmission, gasoline engine and plenty of leg space in at least four seats. We need a large and a smaller commuter car. My wife now only spends 6km a way, and the 2.4 liter Camry doesn’t even get warm. Personally I would like to replace it with an S80 for me, and then add something smaller to my OHL. But I haven’t been paying attention to “new cars” for at least ten years…so anyone who wants to discuss ideas with me is welcome. Lieb Gruss Oli
