Hello, my first post, and this on an unpleasant topic. I bought an older C-Class from a dealer a week ago. The dealer had AU/HU carried out before the purchase I also completed a used car insurance with the purchase (the dealer also advised me to do so). Today I looked through the car once in the workshop of my trust. In addition to various rust spots (was probably too blue-eyed when buying) and other small things the car has a My workshop thinks that the examiner should have faulted at least the carrying joint. I told the dealer of the defects. He thinks that the joint is a design matter, and old cars would lose oil. But then he wanted to contact the guarantee insurance, I should call him back this evening. My questions are: : 1) Can the guarantee insurance deny a complete acceptance of the costs? Do I have to pay at least one part myself (the car has more than 100,000km down)? 2) If the guarantee should be rejected, the dealer is in the warranty obligation. Right? 3) Can I oblige the dealer to take the car back if necessary? Thank you for your answers! Greetings, Philipp
