YEAH – Notebook in the car for NAVI, DVD, MP3

Moin all together,(long post, sorry – hopefully worth it anyway) would like to use Navi, Mp3, DVD and if it goes even video games in the car via a TFT front. I have already informed myself about a home PC in the car here, is not impossible, but difficult due to the interference factors (such as shocks / rumbling, installation location, power supply)Now another idea: I set up a notebook with docking station in the PIII-700MHz class and base the docking station somewhere under This docking station I connect with the TFT (must unfortunately go via S-video) and the power amplifiers or the headunit. In addition, gamepads and a GPS mouse are still available. A radio keyboard is of course required. Now to the problem, the power supply: the docking station only charges the battery, so the battery is used as a buffer in case of voltage fluctuations. But: If the notebook needs an approx. the sine-voltage or a pure sine-supply (would be quite expensive)? What do you say about the project? The notebook keeps the conditions in the car loose, I think times and Navi, Mp3 and a few movies should also run pleasantly on such a mill, right? What do you mean, how will the readability on the front TFT (is not still available) be over the S-video connection? There will probably be bad TFTs in the size around about 7″ which you can connect directly to the monitor output Thanks for your help! Greetings, Henning
