Aygo E85 and without retrofitting

At Aygo, the light is about E40 and after that the lamp lights up. An Aygo driver has a linear 10 kOhm Poti built in at the water temperature Sensos. At low temperatures he turns the fully up and the temperature indicator sing under 40 degrees and the engine goes great. If the engine has become a little warmer then you can turn the Poti down a little bit. During the ride you should not steal it more than 1/3, because otherwise probably too fat runs. My questions: What’s better? Too fat or z u lean? What do you think of the solution?
