Bouncers – Fortify

In the course of the last one and a half years, “The Bouncer” has experimented a lot in the field of polymer compounds. The basis for this was the development of its flagship wax “Blue Lagoon”, whose aim is to combine the optics of a Carnauba Natur Wax with the service life of a sealant. The experience gained in this process can now also be found in other products such as the new FORTIFY “WinterWax”. Fortify is based on a double polymer compound. non-slip production and Japanese polymers are linked together and enriched with the finest T1 grade Carnauba. In the specifications for the Fortify WinterWax there was as high a service life as possible during the (European) winter operation. This means in cold temperatures and a high content of salt that is used especially on European roads in winter.https://lh3.googleisercontent.com/…/IMG_5255.JPGManufacturer: BouncersProduct name: FORTIFYUVP: 28,95€Content: 100mlCategory: (W inter)-WachsGroup: Polymer / Hybrid waxesGeruch: MeloneConsistency: medium/hardTexture: pasty The following report serves only as a short processing report, as the vehicle used is no longer in my possession in the near future. Bouncers Fortify gives a slight melon note of itself after the opening, which is minimally strengthened once the surface has broken a little. The consistency and also the texture of the Fortify is subordinated to the “natural growth” from the Bouncers series. The wax is a bit harder and the texture is much less oily; it looks a bit pasty. However, it is possible to add the wax to the application pad without any problems. https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/…/IMG_5256.JPG As always, the wax is to be processed as thinly as possible.https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/…/IMG_5257.JPG It is striking that the wax slides slightly less than you are used to from the oily bouncers. rs recommends a “blank” lacquer as a basis for polymers to connect. Therefore, you should refrain from filling or oily pre-cleaning like Dodo Juice Lime Prime. Therefore, the best way to preclean the paint again is by sealing with PanelWipe or IPA. I have prepared a sub-area with Chemical Guy’s Vertua Bond 408 that on the one hand ensures a better varnish smoothing and can also serve as a basis for sealing. I certainly will not be able to judge any more. However, I felt the processing of wax on a varnish so prepared more pleasant, because the application pad did not slip so toughly over a varnish. As a venting time 1-3 minutes are indicated. It should not be allowed to dry too long, because it can be easily removed shortly after application and easily lubricated. It is recommended to apply the Fortify in two layers. The second layer can be applied already after a piece The second layer can be processed much easier, as the paint is no longer as dull as it is now. After processing, it seemed striking to me that the achieved shine looked rather untypical compared to the hybrid and polymer waxes previously processed. The shine seemed softer and less mirror-glossy, which was always visible quickly on the metallic white. The shine surprisingly reminds more of a natural carnauba wax.
