Dear community, I’m interested in buying a DS4 130ps diesel. I’d like to get away from the VAG Group at last. So, now to the Problmatik. The said vehicle stands in Vienna and has more than 1 year new car warranty with option for further warranty extension. According to the sales consultant, I have to make all warranty cases and inspections at a DS store for the receipt of the warranty services (it’s clear anyway). DS stores exist however only in a handful of larger cities in Ö. I would have to drive 1:30 hours to the next DS store for every problem. This problem scares me off a bit from a purchase. I don’t mind driving far for inspection once a year. But if there are problems that run on guarantee, I imagine it very tedious. How do the other DS drivers do? Is DS only worth it in the big city close to the store? How vulnerable are DS cars? I quote the sales consultant: “DS is premium like BMW and Mer cedes, this usually does nothing but the annual inspection”, I do not want to rely on one sentence. ^^ And another question on the subject. Do I have a Peugeot dealer in town who has DS cars as a demonstration car on the premises. Do all customers who choose DS now drive here every time 120km to the next DS store for inspection and repairs? For me not quite conclusive, why Peugeot DS offers but no warranty handling and inspections m I hope you can still read out my problem. I am grateful for every answer!
