Hello ! With all this back and forth around the E10 fuel I have a different question : If I now have instead of 5 percent, 10 percent ethanol in petrol, I then also automatically have 5 percent less CO2 emissions because more ethanol is in it ? The consumption should not be higher according to the Technical University of Vienna. If it is the case that I have less CO2 emissions then I would have to pay also less car taxes ? I have one car EZ: 02.03.2009, 1149 ccm, key N r. 62 and a CO2 value of 135g/km. I pay 54 Euro taxes for this. If my vehicle then has 5 percent less CO2 emissions I would be at 128 g/km CO2 and would then have to pay only 40 Euro car taxes.
